According to new non archaeological research due to different authors, the present paper reconsider the question of the dark centuries in history of the Balearic Islands from the liltle new Information provided by the findings (?) of the Santueri Castle (Felanitx). This information, will remain still not complete and will not allow a consistent analysis, unless it is not possible the access to the original complementary materials appeared beside the Byzantine coins and seals, the only material currently published.

A partir de les noves investigacions, no arqueològiques, formulades per diferents autors es replanteja el problema entorn als segles oscurs de les Illes Balears utilitzant la poca informació que fins ara tenim a l'abast de les troballes (?) dutes al castell de Santueri (Felanitx). Informació incompleta que mentre no es pugui establir en què consisteix el material complementari aparegut juntament amb les monedes i els segells d'època bizantina no permet un plantejament coherent.
