Este trabajo estudia la recepción de El Quijote de Cervantes en la literatura polaca a través de las traducciones hechas, primeramente del francés, y después del original español. Se analiza como Don Quijote se convierte en protagonista en las obras de A. Fredro, S. Milaszewszki y T. Lopalewski.
The actual essay deals with the reception of Cervantes�Don Quijote in Polish literature through its translations firstly from French literature and later from original Spanish texts. Also refers to its revalorization in the Polish Romanticism. Its also commented how Don Quijote appears as the main hero in the dramas of A. Fredro (XIX century), S. Milaszewski and T. Lopalewski (1920�s). The essay finishes with the comparison of Milaszcwski�s text, where Don Quijote is based in Polish reality maintaining main chapters, with Lopalewski�s Don Quijote is sanctified.
