    Se estudia a la comunidad de matemáticos de México para conocer su comportamiento en la búsqueda de información a través de la técnica del censo apli-cando como instrumento de investigación el cuestionario. Asimismo, se investiga la relación o influencia posible existente entre diversas variables: nivel de estudios, edad, antigüedad laboral, categoría y pertenencia al SNI contra la fuente y el recurso más utilizado por los investigadores. Por último, se llegan a delimitar los resultados y conclusiones al respecto.

    It is studies to the community of mathematicians in Mexico to know his behavior in the searching of information through the census applying as research in-strument the questionnaire technique. Likewise, it is investigated the relation or pos-sible influence existing between several variables: study level, age, labour age, class and ownership to the SNI against the source and the resource more used by the re-searchers. Finally, it is manage to delimit the results and conclusions to the concern-ing.
