Resumen de Turismo rural en Extremadura: el caso del "turismo paisano"

  La intención del presente texto es contribuir a la reflexión sobre los fenómenos relacionados con la nueva funcionalidad del mundo rural y las valoraciones que se realizan desde los medios urbanos. Pretendemos argumentar que el turismo en las zonas rurales se encuentra articulado a las nuevas formas y procedimientos de trabajo relacionados con los cambios en la estructura socioprofesional y a las variables que condicionan las motivaciones que llevan a los visitantes a elegir el medio rural de Extremadura como destino turístico.

  Por otra parte, se trata de destacar las características que tiene el «turismo paisano» a partir de las visitas de los emigrantes y sus descendientes. De esta forma se pretende dar cuenta de que el turismo también es una fuente de recursos que es preciso investigar más allá de la mera descripción de los análisis al uso

  The purpose at the present article is to help to the reflection on the phenomenon related with the new functional character and the valuations that nowadays are made about the rural space from urban centre. We try to argue that the rural tourism is related with the news working procedures and the variations of the socialprofessional structure and with the variables for wich the visitor select the rural space of Extremadura as tourist destination On the other hand and considering that the rural areas tourism keeps on being more diverse and interrelated than the typologies of ordinary tourism, we also reflect and analyse the case of the «countryman tourism» at Extremadura. So we want to report that the rural areas tourism, in its diverse meanings, is a source of resources that is essential to investigate further than the only description and the mere quantification
