Resumen de El llamamiento a la nobleza de las "dos Andalucias" de 1706

    La Guerra de Sucesión se convirtió en una coyuntura propicia para colmar las aspiraciones de ascenso de diferentes sectores sociales. La nobleza, al igual que otros colectivos, experimentó las convulsiones del conflicto. Toma, en ocasiones, partido por uno u otro bando y, en otras, muestra tibieza y ambigüedad ante las opciones en juego. En febrero de 1706 Felipe V solicita un servicio personal a la hidalguía de las "dos Andalucías" para que "monte a caballo" y se ponga a las órdenes del Marqués de Villadarias, Capitán General de Andalucía. Si el mismísimo Felipe V intervenía en la contienda, al frente de sus tropas, la nobleza debía imitar a su señor natural y cumplir su función social en el ejercicio de las armas, además, de su misión ejemplarizante respecto al estado llano. Sin embargo, en el proceso surgieron numerosos problemas y se produjeron diversos tipos de respuestas.

    The War of Succession became a propitious conjuncture lo overwhelm the aspirations of ascent of different social sectors. The nobility, like other groups, experienced the convulsions of the conflict. The nobility, sometimes, took part by ones and sometimes by others, and sometimes they showed tepidity and ambiguity before the different options in game. In February 1706 Felipe V requested like a personal service to the hidalguía of the "two Andalucías" that "they ride a horse" and they put themselves to the orders of Marquess de Villadarias, Commander in chief of Andalusia. In the same way that Felipe V himself took part in the fight at the head of his troops, the nobility had to imitate their proper master and fulfill their social function as it was the excecise of the weapons, and in addition, they had to fulfill their cxemplary mission with regard to thc common people. Nevertheless, numerous problems appeared along the process and diverse types of answers took place.
