Resumen de Enfermedad de Gorham: Un caso de remisión espontánea

La enfermedad de Gorham fue destinada por Jackson en 1838. Desde entonces se han publicado unos cien casos, el 25% de los cuales afectaban a la región maxilofacial. En este artículo se describe un caso de ostelisis idiomática con afectación mandibular masiva y que, a pesar de la extensión de las lesiones, evolucionó a la curación clínica y radiológica.
El objetivo de este artículo es comparar los tratamientos aplicados a esta patología y valorar las diferentes e irregulares respuestas a los mismos, lo que hace imposible definir un protocolo terapéutico para estos pacientes.

Jackson in 1838, defined the Gorham's disease. Since them more than one hundred cases has been published and twenty five of them affecting the maxillofacial region. In this report is described a case of disappearing bone disease with massive mandibular osteolysis and nevertherless the evolution leaded to "restitution an integratum".
The aim of the present article is to compare the different treatments for this strange pathology found in the bibliography references and there are so many kinds of treatments and so many irregular responses to them that is impossible or to define an standard protocol of management of these patients.
