    Del estudio del Llibre del Repartiment feudal se han recogido aquellas posibles pervivencias del antiguo latín utilizado en Mallorca antes del período islámico de su historia. Se analizan también aquellas traducciones romances de palabras árabes que, por similitud fonética y siguiendo el principio de asociación etimológica, pasan a tener significados diferentes.

    From the study of the feudal Llibre del Repartiment (distribution of properties book’s) those possible remains of the Latin used in Majorca before the Islamic period of its history have being collected. The Romance translations of Arabic words that, by phonetic similarity and following the principle of etymological association, turned out to have a different meaning are also analyzed.
