Resumen de Aproximación al teatro lírico en la Granada romántica (1832-1850)

No se había realizado hasta el momento un estudio sobre la historia del teatro lírico en Granada. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto mostrar la presencia que el teatro lírico tuvo en la ciudad durante el periodo 1832-1850, distinguiendo entre ópera, tonadilla y zarzuela, así como la repercusión que tuvo en la sociedad, tal y como nos refieren las publicaciones de la época. Para ello me baso, principalmente, en el análisis del repertorio representado en el Teatro del Campillo, elaborado a partir del estudio de documentos localizados en diferentes archivos y bibliotecas de Granada y de publicaciones periódicas de la época.

Up until now no analysis had ever been done of the history of the lyric theatre in Granada. The object of this article is to describe the role that lyrical theatre played in that city during the period 1832 to 1850, differentiating between opera, tonadilla and zarzuela, as well as the repercussion it had on society at large, as reflected in the journals of the epoch in question. I have founded my conclusions mainly on the analysis of the repertory presented in the Teatro del Campillo, based on a study of the documents discovered in the different archives and libraries in Granada and from routine publications of the period.
