  • As more pregnant women are exercising during pregnancy, the effects of exercise on both the mother and fetus are important to understand. Resistance training is a popular mode of exercise today and should be further evaluated in terms of its safety and efficacy. Resistance training can be safely incorporated into the pregnant woman's conditioning program.
