  Este trabajo trata de ofrecer un análisis general del léxico de los documentos de la cancillería de Alfonso X, de su valor para la lexicografía histórica y la historia de nuestra lengua; pero fundamentalmente intenta mostrar cómo este léxico ofrece la misma variación que los niveles fonético y morfológico, esto es, variantes que guardan relación con la lengua de destino de los documentos.

  This paper is an attempt to offer a general analysis of the lexis of the documents of the chancery of Alfonso X, assess their value for historical lexicography and the history of the Spanish language, but above all show how the lexical level manifests variation similar to that found at the phonetic and morphological level in the sense that variants are used that bear a relationship to the target language of the documents.
