XIX-XX mende bitarteko euskal abertzaletasun berria, propio hartzen zituen elementuak definitzeko beharrak bultzatuta, Euskal Herrira heldu berri zen trikitixa kanpotar eta ez-euskaldun bezala izendatzen ahalegindu zen. 16 liburu biografikoen eduki-analisia dela medio, artikuluak errotze-prozesu hartan trikitixaren inguruan eratutako irudia aztertzen du, ikusteko musika-tresna zelan hauteman zen, eta frogatzeko, kanpotik etorri bazen ere, erabat integratu zela euskal herrikulturan.
The new Basque nationalism between the 19th and 20th centuries, driven by the need to define the elements it considered its own, attempted to name the trikitixa, which had recently arrived in the Basque Country, as foreign and non-Basque. Through the content analysis of 16 biographical books, the article examines the image formed around the trikitixa during that process of rooting. It aims to understand how the musical instrument was perceived and to demonstrate that, although it came from outside, it became fully integrated into Basque popular culture.
