    • This presentation addresses the central importance of work in people's lives, exploring its role in shaping identity, structuring daily life, providing personal fulfillment, and ensuring economic stability. Initially, it examines the fundamental questions: What is work? Why do we work? What do we know about the world of work? The discussion then moves to the concepts of decent work and meaningful work, emphasizing their critical relevance in building a sustainable future for all. Decent work ensures fair conditions and human dignity, while meaningful work provides individuals with purpose and fulfillment. Finally, the presentation highlights the ethical responsibility shared by individuals, educational institutions, and organizations in creating work environments that respect human rights, promote equality, and contribute to social well-being. It advocates for aligning work practices with the principles of sustainability, justice, and inclusion, urging collective action towards more equitable, productive, and sustainable societies.
