    El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer los resultados de la intervención arqueológica realizada durante el año 2024 en el castillo de Busot (Alicante). En este proyecto se intervino en la muralla oeste, incluidas las torres oeste y noroeste junto con el aljibe exterior, y en la conocida como torre mocha, elemento más característico y destacable de la fortaleza que nos permitió documentar una domus bajomedieval del siglo XIV. Tras la excavación se realizó una intervención de restauración con el objetivo de proteger y poner en valor los restos arqueológicos recuperados, así como facilitar su visita. Estas obras han sido promovidas por el Ayuntamiento de Busot con financiación de la Diputación de Alicante y la Generalitat Valenciana.

    The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the archaeological intervention carried out during 2024 at Busot Castle (Alicante). This project was focused on the western wall, including the west and northwest towers, along with the exterior cistern, and the structure known as torre mocha, the most distinctive and notable feature of the fortress, which allowed us to document a late medieval domus from the 14th century. After the excavation, a restoration intervention was undertaken with the objective of protecting and highlighting the recovered archaeological remains, as well as facilitating their visit. These works were promoted by the Busot Council with funding from the Alicante Provincial Council and the Generalitat Valenciana.
