Resumen de Recursos TIC innovadores. Wikiloc e Historypin para la enseñanza de las Ciencias Sociales

Álvaro Francisco Morote Seguido, Juan Carlos Colomer Rubio

  • The objective of this work is to present the results obtained during the 2022-2023 academic year of the Project “Educational and Didactic Technology of Social Sciences: Resources and Strategies for the Improvement of Digital Teaching Competence” (TECSOCO) of the University of Valencia (Spain). This project seeks to develop, evaluate and disseminate technological resources and strategies to improve Teacher Digital Competence (TDC) in subjects related to the Didactics of Social Sciences in different teacher training programs in Spain and abroad. Part of the results obtained from specific objective N. 1 of the project will be presented (“design geolocated field trips using technological tools with applications: Historypin and Wikiloc”). The creation of new Teaching-Learning (T-L) resources and practices aimed at building the digital competence allows the development of digital skills and abilities that are essential in current educational contexts. The presentation of results of teaching innovation projects such as the one presented here (TECSOCO) demonstrate the importance and effectiveness of these new practices in teacher training in the teaching of Geography and History.
