  • The Serrano Morales Library in Valencia contains a factitious volume with 18 librettos of Spanish oratorios from the eighteenth century, dated between 1702 and 1771.¹ These copies correspond to the usual typology of these pieces: booklets in 8º format, with a variable length of between 12 and 16 pages (between 350–400 verses); title page with the name of the oratorio, the place and date of performance,² the choir master who composed the music, and the printer of the librettos or the typographical office.³ The verso of the title page lists the characters who take part in these sacred dramas,...
