  • In the fall of 2018 members of UCLA’s Working Group on Comedia in Translation and Performance¹ attended rehearsals for our translation of Pedro Calderón de la Barca’s Amar después de la muerte, titled To Love Beyond Death. From 2015 to 2019 staged readings of our close-to-finished drafts in collaboration with director Michael Hackett from the Department of Theater, Film and Television at UCLA were a crucial step in finalizing the group’s translations.
