Resumen de El reverso de la aporofobia: la protección del estatus como patología social

La aporofobia ha sido teorizada por Adela Cortina a partir de la tendencia a la cooperación desarrollada desde la neuroética. En este trabajo defendiendo que la comprensión de la aporofobia se puede enriquecer si abordamos este fenómeno desde la psicología del estatus. Este análisis desde las lentes del estatus aporta tres ventajas: Permite conceptualizar filosóficamente dos tipos de conductas aporófobas que denomino aporofobia directa y aporofobia oblicua. Segunda, nos ilumina sobre el reverso de la aporofobia: cómo actúan quienes se reconocen como pobres en situaciones de aporofobia. Tercera, muestra cómo la aporofobia rompe con la lógica del reconocimiento recíproco.

Aporophobia has been theorized by Adela Cortina from the tendency to cooperation developed from neuroethics. In this work I argue that the understanding of aporophobia can be enriched if we approach this phenomenon from the psychology of status. This analysis from the lens of status provides three advantages. It allows philosophically conceptualizing two types of aporophobic behavior that I call direct aporophobia and oblique aporophobia. Second, it enlightens us on the reverse of aporophobia: how those who recognize themselves as poor act in situations of aporophobia. Third, it shows how aporophobia breaks with the logic of reciprocal recognition.
