Resumen de Despoblación y reto demográfico. Factores explicativos, contextos y consecuencias

Esta contribución se centra en delimitar previamente algu-nos conceptos e ideas que conviene deslindar de forma precisa al tratar los temas referidos al problema y realidad de la despoblación, así como des-granar algunas cuestiones que son objeto de discusión o debate para su mejor comprensión. De igual modo, se va a hacer especial hincapié en los factores y contextos que ayudan a entender el problema y su desarrollo, al mismo tiempo que se dará cabida también a los efectos, implicaciones y consecuencias de muy distinto orden que se derivan de todo ello. Tampoco estará ausente de la explicación el papel que han jugado en todo este pro-ceso las estrategias, políticas y actuaciones que se han puesto en marcha a distintas escalas.

This contribution focuses on previously delimiting some concepts and ideas that should be precisely defined when dealing with the issues related to the problem and reality of depopulation, as well as to ex-plain some questions that are the object of discussion or debate for a better understanding. Likewise, special emphasis will be placed on the factors and contexts that help to understand the problem and its development. At the same time, the effects, implications and consequences of a very different order that derive from all of this will also be considered. Furthermore, it will briefly analyse the role played by the strategies, policies and actions implemented at different scales in this process.
