S’ha analitzat la incidència del canvi climàtic a les poblacions d’aus i papallones a l’illa de Menorca amb dades obtingudes amb metodologies estandarditzades durant el període (2001-2017). S’observen canvis en la fenologia de papallones. No s’observen canvis en la fenologia de cria. Els canvis d’usos del sòl en els darrers 20 anys a l’illa han afavorit l’augment de la complexitat de la cobertura forestal què ha mitigat els possibles efectes del canvi climàtic, permetent un creixement de les poblacions d’aus forestals a Menorca. Les espècies d’aus d’àrees obertes presenten una tendència incerta i unes pitjors previsions a la disminució degut a la intensificació dels processos agrícoles - ramaders.

The incidence of climate change in the bird and butterfly populations in the island of Menorca has been analyzed with data obtained using standardized methodologies during the period (2001-2017). There are changes in the phenology of butterflies. There are no changes in breeding phenology. The changes in land use in the last 20 years on the island have favored the increase in the complexity of forest cover which has mitigated the possible effects of climate change, allowing the growth of forest bird populations in Menorca . Species of birds in open areas show an uncertain trend and worse forecasts due to the intensification of agricultural processes - livestock farmers.
