  El presente estudio tiene por objetivo analizar la validez estructural del Cuestionario de Ansiedad y Emociones y del Sueño (DSEA Dream and Sleep Emotions and Anxiety), como escala unidimensional. A través del Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio (AFC), se confirmó la estructura bifactor con un factor global de la ansiedad general en el sueño DSEA-G que coexiste con tres factores específicos: DSEA-S, DSEA-D (valencia negativa) y DSEA-D (valencia positiva). Los resultados sugieren una variable latente común correspondiente a la ansiedad como rasgo en el sueño. Además, se ofrece la versión del DSEA en español, adecuada para futuras investigaciones y aplicaciones clínicas en contextos hispanohablantes. Este estudio aporta a la comprensión de la interrelación entre el sueño y la regulación emocional, destacando la importancia de evaluar conjuntamente estos aspectos para un abordaje más completo en la salud mental.

  The present study aims to analyze the Dream and Sleep Emotions and Anxiety Questionnaire (DSEA)'s structural validity as a unidimensional scale. Through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the bifactor structure was confirmed with a global factor of general anxiety in the DSEA-G dream, coexisting with three specific factors: DSEA-S, DSEA-D (negative valence), and DSEA-D (positive valence). The results suggest a common latent variable corresponding to trait anxiety in dreams. The Spanish version of the DSEA is also provided, suitable for future research and clinical applications in Spanish-speaking contexts. This study contributes to understanding the interplay between sleep and emotional regulation, highlighting the importance of jointly assessing these aspects for a more comprehensive approach to mental health.
