Resumen de Recerca, catalogació i restauració del patrimoni de pedra seca a Castellar del Vallès

Es presenta el treball del grup de voluntaris jubilats del Centre Excursionista del Vallès i del Centre d’Estudis de Castellar per a la catalogació i restauració de patrimoni de pedra seca al terme municipal de Castellar del Vallès, que ha reconstruït unes vuitanta barraques de les 152 catalogades, amb l’objectiu d’animar els amants de la pedra seca, no solament a fer recerca i documentació, sinó també a fer tasques de reconstrucció i manteniment deles construccions en pedra seca que es troben abandonades en els nostrescamps i boscos.

The work of retirees and volunteers from the “Centre Excursionista del Vallès” and the Studies Centre of Castellar for the cataloguing and restoration of the dry stone heritage, in the municipality of Castellar del Vallès, is presented. The Team has rebuilt about 80 of the152 shelters catalogued, with the aim of encouraging lovers of dry stone, not only to do research and documentation, but also to undertake reconstruction and maintenance work on dry stone buildings that are abandoned in our fields and forests.
