Retales del pasado judío en Cataluña: la ketubá de Girona 3 en su contexto histórico y documental

    Con motivo de la aparición de una nueva ketubá en el Arxiu Històric de Girona, en este artículo se incorpora su trascripción y traducción y se actualiza el listado de las ketubot catalanas halladas hasta la fecha, ahondando en su tipología, cláusulas y contribuciones económicas. Asimismo, se aporta un estudio histórico-documental de la ketubá de Girona 3 en relación con el hallazgo de otros documentos hebreos custodiados en los archivos catalanes, en especial varios pergaminos conservados actualmente en el Arxiu Diocesà de Girona, que en su momento fueron dados a conocer por Isidore Loeb y Josep Maria Millàs i Vallicrosa. El análisis de los documentos seleccionados revela la estrecha relación mantenida entre diversos individuos de las aljamas judías de Girona y Besalú a finales del siglo XIII e inicios del siglo XIV.

    On the occasion of the appearance of a new ketubah in the Historical Archive of Girona, this article incorporates its transcription and translation and updates the list of the Catalan ketubot found to the date, delving into their typology, clauses, and economic contributions. Likewise, a historical-documentary study of the ketubah of Girona 3 is provided, in relation to other Hebrew documents kept in the Catalan archives. Specially, several Hebrew parchments, currently kept in the Diocesan Archive of Girona, which at the time were published by Isidore Loeb and Josep Maria Millàs i Vallicrosa. The analysis of the selected documents reveals the close relationship maintained between different individuals of the Jewish aljamas of Girona and Besalú at the end of the 13th century and the beginning of the 14th century.
