Resumen de El perfet en català
This paper studies the present perfect in present-day Catalan using a semantico-functional approach. It is a corpus-based study, using a manually-gathered corpus of 1285 tokens from 9 plays written in Catalan. The instances of present perfect are classified into different types, depending on their meaning, and the each type is studied in depth, including information on temporal complementation, aspectual character of the situation, and certain pragmatic factors.
