    La doctrina constitucional sobre la protección por nacimiento y cuidado del menor (doctrina contenida fijada en la STC 140/2024, de 6 de noviembre, aplicada en posteriores Sentencias del mismo tribunal de 2 de diciembre de 2024, núm.147, 149, 150, 151(2)) ha sido recientemente revisada para extender la prestación de la madre biológica de familia monoparental a diez semanas más -que le correspondería disfrutar al otro progenitor, caso de existir-, pasando a percibir el subsidio económico durante veintiséis semanas, por entender que la no acumulación de estas semanas vulnera el derecho a no padecer discriminación por razón de nacimiento en familia monoparental.

    The constitutional doctrine on the protection by birth and care of the minor (established in STC 140/2024, of November 6, applied in subsequent Sentences of the same court of December 2, 2024, no. 147; 149, 150, 151 ) has recently been revised to extend the benefit of the biological mother of a single-parent family to ten more weeks - which would correspond to the other parent, if it exists -, starting to receive the economic subsidy for twenty-six weeks, on the understanding that the non-accumulation of these weeks violates the right not to suffer discrimination due to birth in a single-parent family.
