  • The article It¿s freedom¿s fault is a review of the responsibilities of the press. At times the freedom of the press to inform the public clashes dramatically with the right to privacy or the labyrinth of national security. It is also true that this freedom suffers from the excesses of sensationalistic journalism and the culture of the fast-breaking news and the scoop. All over the world, the freedom of the press is breaking new ground; however, writing on-line or reporting via digital technology still requires responsible use of the power of the word.
