Resumen de Relaciones de poder, cultura política y contestación social en Asturias de Santillana (1369-1450)

    La investigación tiene por objetivo el estudio de la evolución de las relaciones sociopolíticas entre la Corona de Castilla, la nobleza y las comunidades de los valles de la merindad de Asturias de Santillana entre 1369 y 1450; en el marco de la conflictividad política y por medio de la cultura política bajomedieval. La documentación utilizada comprende tanto fuentes publicadas como fuentes inéditas de archivos españoles, nacionales y regionales, y consta de diferentes tipos: desde peticiones y protestas hasta disposiciones regias procedentes de la Corte y de los tribunales regios.

    En la introducción, se abordan los objetivos, el planteamiento, la metodología y el estado de la cuestión. En el análisis, se trata la evolución de las relaciones sociopolíticas entre los actores históricos y la relación con los contextos de la comarca y del reino. Finalmente, el texto consta de un epílogo, unas conclusiones, tablas, mapas y un apéndice con textos.

    The Dissertation points out the evolution of political relationships between the Crown of Castile, nobles and communities in valleys of Merindad of Asturias de Santillana (1369-1450) in conflictive frames and by means of political culture. Sources comprise published and unpublished ones from national and regional archives, and they consist of different sorts, from petitions to royal commands coming from the Court and royal courts.

    The Dissertation is divided into three main sections. First, purposes, the project, methodology and the state of the art are charted. Secondly, how political relationships between historical actors and the connection to historical contexts in the realm and the region are analised. Thirdly, an epilogue, conclusions, figures and an appendix with texts from sources are included.
