Se desarrolla un estudio morfológico sobre los caracteres taxonómicos de las especies del género Bruchidius Schilsky, 1905, agrupadas en el grupo subgenérico foveolatus, presentes en la Península Ibérica (España y Portugal), islas Baleares e islas Canarias. Se analizan los caracteres morfológicos y su valor como criterio discriminador de las especies del grupo, así como los aspectos concordantes y discordantes de la biología trófica conocida de las diferentes especies.

A morphological study is carried out on the taxonomic characters of the species of the genus Bruchidius Schilsky, 1905, grouped in the foveolatus subgeneric group, present in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal), the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands. The morphological characters and their value as a discriminating criterion of the species of the group are analyzed, as well as the concordant and discordant aspects of the known trophic biology of the different species.
