  Esta investigación realiza una revisión bibliométrica en el campo de la inteligencia artificial y la educación, con el objetivo de conocer la amplitud de la incursión de la evolución tecnológica en el ámbito educativo. La revisión bibliométrica se hace a partir de las palabras clave: “artificial intelligence” y “education”, limitando los resultados al ámbito de las ciencias sociales en la base de datos Scopus. La búsqueda se realiza en inglés y se analizan las siguientes dimensiones: tema, tipos de publicación, área temática, país, publicación, autor y año. Se analiza la concurrencia temática de las palabras clave mediante el software VosViewer. Los resultados muestran que las publicaciones se reparten en 103 países, aunque destacan 6 países con más de 100 publicaciones: EEUU (25%), China (13%), Reino Unido (8%), España (5%), Canadá e India (4%). El 98% de las publicaciones se realizan en inglés. En conclusión, hay un incremento significativo de sistemas de inteligencia artificial en la educación con su inclusión en tareas administrativas y los procesos de enseñanzaaprendizaje.

  This research study performs a bibliometric review of the field of artificial intelligence and education, with the goal of understanding the extent of the incursion of technological evolution in the educational field. The bibliometric review is conducted using the keywords: "artificial intelligence" and "education," limiting the results to the field of social sciences on the Scopus database. The search is conducted in English and the analysis examines the following aspects: topic, publication types, thematic area, country, publication, author, and year.

  The keywords thematic concurrence is assessed using the software VosViewer. The results show that most publications are distributed among 103 countries, although six are highlighted for having more than 100 publications: USA (25%), China (13%), the United Kingdom (8%), Spain (5%), Canada and India (4%). Overall, 98% of the publications are written in English. In conclusion, there is a remarkable increase of artificial intelligence systems in education with their inclusion in administrative tasks and teaching-learning processes.
