El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo central conocer la situación económica del Instituto Provincial de Córdoba en los últimos años del siglo XIX, coincidentes con la crisis nacional de finales de dicho siglo. Para ello analizamos los ingresos y sobre todo los gastos del mismo desde el punto de vista cuantitativo y cualitativo, así como las relaciones económicas con el Colegio de La Asunción que era el internado anejo al Instituto

The main objective of this work is to know the economic situation of the Provincial Institute of Córdoba in the last years of the 19th century, coinciding with the national crisis of the end of that century. To do this, we analyzed its income and especially its expenses from a quantitative and qualitative point of view, as well as the economic relations with the Colegio de La Asunción, which was the boarding school attached to the Institute
