Resumen de La producción científica sobre redes sociales en España: análisis bibliométrico (2010-2019)

• The tasks that social networks satisfy in the contemporary media scene, and the applications that derive from them, show the interest of the academic institution when contemplating them as references for research of diverse nature. The results show that this is a relevant object of study, with a predominance of publications in Spanish on Journalism, Pedagogy and Sociology, collectively authored research and the preeminence of Spain as the country of origin of the works.
