Resumen de La historiografía de la guerra de los moriscos de Granada (1568-1571): pasado, presente y futuro

En este artículo se traza un recorrido por la historiografía de las dos últimas décadas sobre la conocida como guerra de las Alpujarras o guerra de los moriscos. Se analizan especialmente las obras publicadas con motivo de la conmemoración del 450 aniversario del inicio de la contienda. Al mismo tiempo se hacen propuestas acerca de los caminos que debería seguir la investigación histórica, a fin de que se supere la fase de rendimientos decrecientes en que parece haber entrado el estudio de esta guerra. Dichas propuestas se fundamentan en la necesaria renovación metodológica, en la diversificación de fuentes documentales y en la aplicación de los postulados que plantean tanto la nueva historia militar como otras tendencias historiográficas actuales.

This article traces a journey through the historiography of the last two decades on what is known as the War of the Alpujarras or War of the Moros. The works published on the commemoration of the 450th anniversary of the beginning of the war are especially analyzed. At the same time, proposals are made about the paths that historical research should follow, in order to overcome the phase of diminishing returns in which the study of this war seems to have entered. These proposals are based on the necessary methodological renewal, on the diversification of documentary sources and on the application of the postulates raised by both the new military history and other current historiography trends.
