Resumen de Evaluación de los Informes de Calidad del Máster de Secundaria

  Los procesos de homologación y seguimiento de las titulaciones universitarias son uno de los mecanismos utilizados para garantizar la adecuación de la oferta formativa. Sin embargo, las investigaciones existentes en esta área son más bien escasas. Por ello, este estudio se propuso evaluar los resultados de acreditación de los másteres en Profesorado de Enseñanza Secundaria Obligatoria y Bachillerato, Formación Profesional y Enseñanza de Idiomas de las universidades públicas y privadas españolas, así como comparar la valoración obtenida entre ambos tipos de instituciones. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo-comparativo mediante el análisis de los últimos informes de acreditación (54 documentos) de las distintas agencias de calidad. La revisión realizada permitió apreciar una notable heterogeneidad en los parámetros y en las escalas de valoración utilizadas. El criterio con más informes favorables fue el de Personal de apoyo, recursos, materiales y servicios. Por el contrario, Organización y desarrollo y Resultados de aprendizaje fueron los que obtuvieron el mayor número de valoraciones negativas. El análisis comparativo entre las instituciones privadas y públicas permitió advertir, además, que las primeras tuvieron valoraciones más favorables. A la vista de tales divergencias, se concluye la necesidad de armonizar los procesos y mecanismos de acreditación de este máster en España.

  The processes of accreditation and monitoring of university degrees are one of the mechanisms used to guarantee the adequacy of the training on offer. However, existing research in this area is rather scarce. For this reason, this paper set out to evaluate the accreditation results of the master’s degrees in Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching of Spanish public and private universities, as well as to compare the evaluation obtained between both types of institutions. A descriptive-comparative study was carried out by analysing the latest accreditation reports (54 documents) from the different quality agencies. The review made it possible to appreciate a notable heterogeneity in the parameters and assessment scales used. The criterion with the most favourable reports was Support staff, resources, materials and services. On the other hand, Organisation and development and Learning outcomes received the highest number of negative ratings. The comparative analysis between private and public institutions also showed that the former had more favourable ratings. In view of these divergences, it is concluded that there is a need to harmonise the processes and mechanisms for accreditation of this master’s degree in Spain.
