Resumen de Apuntes históricos y artísticos del colegio de los irlandeses de la Compañía de Jesús de Sevilla

Con el presente artículo queremos dar a conocer nuevos datos sobre el colegio de la Concepción de Nuestra Señora y de la Santa Fe Católica, también conocido como de San Patricio o de los irlandeses y de forma popular como de los Chiquitos, perteneciente a la Compañía de Jesús en Sevilla. Para efectuar un acercamiento a su patrimonio artístico analizaremos la evolución, del continente y del contenido, desde su fundación hasta su anexión con el colegio de los irlandeses de Salamanca, decretado tras la expulsión de la Compañía de Jesús por Carlos III.
En este estudio aportamos noticias inéditas sobre historia, arquitectura, retablos, esculturas, ornamentos, platería, pinturas y un largo etcétera de bienes muebles que hemos entresacado del libro de alhajas de sacristía, del inventario de pinturas y de la propia Historia del colegio.

With this article we aim to make known new data about the School of the Conception of Our Lady and the Holy Catholic Faith, also known as Saint Patrick or College of the Irish and popularly as Los Chiquitos, belonging to the Company of Jesus in Seville. To make an approach to its artistic heritage we will analyze the evolution of the continent and its content, from its foundation to its annexation with the College of the Irish of Salamanca, decreed after the expulsion of the Society of Jesus by Carlos III.
In this study we provide unpublished news on history, architecture, altarpieces, sculptures, ornaments, silverware, paintings and a long list of movable property that we have culled from the sacristy jewelery book, the inventory of paintings and the history of the school itself.
