Resumen de La afroruralidad del norte del Cauca (Colombia): Etnogénesis de las negritudes. De Monte Oscuro a la finca tradicional

El objetivo es dar cuenta de la afroruralidad en tanto categoría que evidencia históricamente un mundo rural hasta ahora invisibilizado,ubicado en la zona plana del norte del departamento del Cauca (Colombia).Metodológicamente se recurre a un análisis histórico a partir de fuentes secundarias,enriquecido por la vivencia directa de la territorialidad afrorural de la región.El referente teórico lo constituye la categoría de etnogénesis de las negritudes,planteada en trabajos de Oscar Almario García,Giselle Invernón Duconge y Menara Lube Guizardi,entre otros.Se abordan cuatro tópicos:esclavización y haciendas;cimarrones y palenques;etnogénesis y afroruralidad nortecaucana en el siglo XIX;el despojo de la tierra afrorural en el siglo XX;y,por último,la finca tradicional,referente simbólico de la afroruralidad nortecaucana y su contexto actual.Un resultado importante es que se visibiliza histórica y territorialmente la afroruralidad. Se concluye que ella es producto de un proceso de etnogénesis, que se constituyó desde su identidad étnica-cultural,su lucha por la libertad y que su actual referente es la finca tradicional.

The objective of the article is to describe Afro-rurality as a historical category corresponding to a rural world that has been invisible until now in the flatlands of Northern Cauca, Colombia. Methodologically, this historical analysis uses secondary sources and is enriched by the author’s direct experience of Afro-rural territoriality in that region.This work falls in the theoretical category of black ethnogenesis, as approached in the works of Oscar Almario García, Giselle Invernon Duconge,Menara Lube Guizardi and others.Four topics are addressed: slavery and haciendas-cimarrones and palenques;ethnogenesis and Afrorurality in the northern Cauca during the nineteenth century;dispossession of Afro rural lands in the twentieth century and the traditional farm as the symbol of northern Cauca Afro-rurality and its current context.One important outcome of this work was to give visibility to historical and territorial Afro-rurality as the product of ethnogenesis based on ethnic-cultural identity,the struggle for freedom and the traditional farm as the current reference point.
