  Las figuritas ibéricas se presentan en este volumen como un conjunto de imágenes ideotécnicas de gran valor social. Sus narrativas se basan en historias fijadas en pintura sobre soportes parietales, que aportan una información Única en Europa.

  Su interpretación se enmarca en las ideologías que sustentaban las exhibiciones en el mundo funerario como parte de la competencia social. Estas representaciones de pequeños cuerpos humanos "vestidos" de sol aportan una amplia información, que incluye conocimientos sobre la identidad, el género, la edad, el estatus y su biografía. Sus Ilamativas imágenes no están alejadas de los fundamentos ideológicos de las construcciones de poder entre las élites históricas.

  The Iberian figurines are presented in this volume as a set of ideo-technical images of great social value. Their narratives are based on the stories fixed upon painted parietal supports, providing information that is unique in the European context.

  Their interpretation is framed within the ideologies that underpinned displays in the funerary world as part of social competition. These representations of small human bodies "dressed" in the sun, provide us with ample information, including insights on identity, gender, age, status, and history. Their striking images are not far removed from the ideological foundations of the power constructs among the historical elite.
