La migración del ‘mena’ marroquí vista desde dentro.: Apuntes sobre políticas y pedagogía social

    Hakim era un adolescente marroquí que se dio cuenta de que no quería la vida de pobreza y determinismo  que estaba predestinado a tener. Decidió migrar de manera irregular, solo y cometiendo delitos, para  btener una vida mejor. Lo interesante de su caso es que lo consiguió de un modo extraordinario y desde hace años  vive en España de manera regularizada y desempeñando una labor social importante. En este artículo se va  a  hacer un recorrido por su proceso migratorio para comprender desde dentro el camino que hacen los  MENA (Menores Extranjeros No Acompañados) marroquíes y entender los motivos que les llevan a iniciar esa andadura, a pesar de todos los riesgos y dificultades que conlleva. La investigación se llevó a cabo utilizando  la metodología biográfica. Su historia de vida se armó, fundamentalmente, a partir de los testimonios del  protagonista y de numerosos personajes clave (entre otros: la jueza, su tutor en el centro de internamiento y  su madre de acogida), así como de cuantiosos registros documentales e iconográficos. El análisis de los  diversos factores que se conjugaron proporciona un conocimiento exhaustivo de esa realidad, permite  plantear una serie de recomendaciones políticas en pos de la mejora de la situación y contribuye a hacer pedagogía social al respecto, desde una contra-narrativa que los humaniza, para luchar contra los prejuicios  que sufren en los países receptores. Además, se muestra cómo cuando se les da una oportunidad, su historia la pueden escribir de otra manera.

    Hakim was a Moroccan teenager who realised that he did not want the life of poverty and determinism he  was predestined to have. He decided to migrate irregularly, alone and committing crimes, in order to obtain  a better life. The interesting thing about his case is that he succeeded in an extraordinary way and he is living in Spain for years in a regularised way and carrying out important social work. This article will take a look at  their migratory process in order to understand from the inside the path taken by Moroccan UFM (Unaccompanied Foreign Minors), and to understand the reasons that lead them to embark on this journey,  despite all the risks and difficulties that it entails. The research was carried out using the biographical methodology. His life story was assembled mainly from the testimonies of the protagonist and numerous key figures (the judge, his tutor at the detention centre, his foster mother and others), as well as numerous  documentary and iconographic records. The analysis of the various factors that came together provides an  exhaustive knowledge of this reality, allows a series of political recommendations to be put forward in order  to improve the situation and contributes to social pedagogy in this respect, from a counter-narrative that  humanises them, in order to fight against the prejudices they suffer in the receiving countries. In addition, it shows how, when given a chance, they can write their story differently.
