  Using the sources from the Santíssima Trindade Convent of Lisbon, the main goal of this paper is study the food diet provided to the Portughese captives on their journey to Lisbon from Magreb, during the Modern Age. The paper also intends to know similaritudes and diferences between others food diets used in other maritime travels in the same period.

  Partindo de documentação relativa ao Convento da Santíssima Trindade de Lisboa, procura conhecer-se a dieta alimentar fornecida aos cativos portugueses na torna-viagem rumo a Lisboa, durante a Época Moderna, e perceber semelhanças e diferenças com outros regimes alimentares praticados a bordo no mesmo período.
