    Durante el Trienio Liberal los pueblos de las bandas del Sur de Tenerife eligieron Ayuntamientos constitucionales, y aunque las fuentes son parciales y fraccionarias, permiten conocer cómo se llevó a cabo el proceso de ocupación de cargos públicos, pero también su quehacer en los distintos ámbitos de gobierno, ya fueran de índole local como general, siendo especialmente relevante la gestión realizada en Adeje, uno de los dos pueblos sometidos al régimen señorial en la Isla. Los baldíos, los presupuestos, las contribuciones, la instrucción primaria, la redacción de ordenanzas, son algunas de las cuestiones abordadas por los Ayuntamientos del Trienio.

    During the Liberal Triennium, the peoples of the southern Tenerife gangs elected constitutional councils, and although the sources are partial and fractional, they not only allow us to know how the process of holding public office was carried out, but also their work in the different areas of government, whether local or general in nature, being especially relevant the management carried out in Adeje, one of the two towns subject to the manorial regime on the island. The vacant lots, budgets, contributions, the primary instruction, the drafting of ordinances, are some of the issues addressed by the Town Halls of the Triennium.
