El Archivo Municipal de Córdoba tiene la fortuna de haber conservado una gran parte del legado medieval y moderno del Concejo cordobés, a pesar de los avatares históricos que el mismo sufrió. Antiguos Inventarios describen joyas documentales y otros muchos documentos, materia prima de la Historia de Córdoba. Desde el s. XIX hasta nuestros días diferentes Archiveros Municipales, todos ellos académicos, custodiaron este legado.
Actualmente, el Archivo Municipal de Córdoba no descuida su vertiente administrativa.

The Municipal Archives of Córdoba is fortunate to have preserved a large part of the medieval and modern legacy of the Cordovan Council / Town Hall, despite the historical vicissitudes that it has suffered. Old Inventories reveal documentary jewels and many other documents, laying the foundations of the History of Córdoba. Since the XIX century to present times, different Municipal Archivists, all of them academics, have guarded this legacy.
Nowadays, the Municipal Archives of Córdoba does not neglect its administrative dimension.
