Este trabajo se centrará en el estudio de aquellos sastres que realizaron obra para la Corte en donde se atenderá a distintos aspectos de su vida: quiénes eran, cómo accedían a ocupar su puesto, la diversidad laboral que existía entre ellos, dónde vivían o la importancia que tiene la reproducción social artesanal que irá ligada a la endogamia profesional.
This paper focuses on the study of the tailors working for the Spanish Court, presenting an insight into different aspects about their lives such as: who they were, how they got their position, the labor diversity that existed among them, where they lived and the relevance of their “social reproduction” that went hand in hand with professional endogamy.
