  En este artículo se analiza críticamente la constitucionalidad de la educación diferenciada por sexos y su financiación pública a través del régimen de conciertos educativos. Para ello se realiza un recorrido por la regulación —o ausencia de ella— de este tipo de educación realizada por las diferentes y sucesivas leyes educativas de nuestra democracia, las aportaciones de la doctrina y los principales pronunciamientos tanto del Tribunal Constitucional como del Tribunal Supremo. Si tras 2018 y la doctrina contenida en el conjunto de sentencias que se inicia con la STC 31/2018 el debate parecía cerrado, la reciente aprobación y entrada en vigor de la LOMLOE ha vuelto a reabrirlo.

  This paper critically analyzes the constitutionality of single-sex education and its financing with public resources, through agreements. To do this, it reviews the regulation —or its absence— of this type of education in the different and successive educational laws of our democracy, as well as the academic contributions and the main judicial decisions, both of the Constitutional Court and of the Supreme Court. If, after 2018 and the doctrine contained in the set of judgments that begins with the Constitutional Court Judgment 31/2018, the debate seemed closed, the changes introduced in the legislation by the LOMLOE (2020) have reopened it.
