    El objeto de este estudio es el de analizar la relación entre el bombardeo de la Kriegsmarine sobre Almería, el 31 de mayo de 1937, y el diario ABC, teniendo como marco referencial el rigor crítico al abordar la utilización de la prensa como fuente documental primaria en el análisis de la Historia Contemporánea Española, que la inscribe en el espacio de su elaboración y en el entramado de los actores que la produjeron. Para ello, se toma como referencia la labor editorial y de opinión en función de sus dos ediciones. Estudiando el hecho en sí, qué repercusión tuvo y de qué forma fue transmitido este por los dos bandos enfrentados a sus respectivos lectores, podemos introducirnos en la relación del papel que jugó la prensa dentro de la contienda civil española como un arma propagandística. Todo ello desde el análisis de un acontecimiento histórico que pertenece a nuestra memoria más cercana, y del cual se han cumplido 82 año

    The aim of this study is the analysis of the relationship between the bombardment on Almería by Kriegsmarine on May 31st, 1937 and the ABC newspaper. Critical rigour has been used when approaching the press as a documentary source in the analysis of the Contemporary Spanish History, considering both its production and the characters that made it. To achieve this, the publishing work and the opinion one were taken into account. The important role that the written press had as a propaganda weapon in the Spanish Civil War will be studied by analyzing the war itself, its consequences and in what way this war was transmitted by both sides to their readers. All of this from the analysis of a historical event that belongs to our nearest memory and of which it´s 83 years
