El trabajo que quisiera exponer tratará sobre Mme. Yvonne Foinant. Nacida en Francia hacia fines del siglo XIX, desde joven supo crecer y desarrollarse en ambientes, por tradición, masculinos. Los vaivenes de la Europa del siglo XX la dejaron muchas veces en soledad, situación que le permitió entrever la necesidad de una integración concreta de las mujeres para reivindicar su papel en el manejo de las empresas, materializada en la fundación de numerosas asociaciones. Entre ellas FCEM (Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales), que continúa tras sesenta años de ininterrumpida actividad, conteniendo, capacitando, aunando y fomentando al empresariado femenino entrelazado en los cinco continentes.

The present paper will deal with the figure of Mme. Yvonne Foinant. Born in France at the end of the nineteenth century, since her youth she had to learn to grow and develop in environments traditionally masculine. The vicissitudes of the European twentieth century often left her alone, which made her glimpse the necessity of a concrete integration of women in order to claim the recognition for their role in the management of companies, materialized in the founding of numerous associations. Among them FCEM (Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales), which continues after sixty years of uninterrupted activity, containing, qualifying, combining and promoting women’s entrepreneurship in the five continents.
