The archaeological field survey carried out in the confluence of the Genil and Guadalquivir Rivers has revealed a set of sites with Paleolithic materials localized at the surface and in stratigraphic context. The four collections that we are presenting were collected at the Surface level in the same geomorphic context and all within a very short distance from each other. In that same context similar lithic material was gathered in various stratigraphic profiles. The patent homogeneity of the morpho-typological features of the production ascribes the four sets to a single cultural facies, an indeterminate Middle Paleolithic one of a fluvial environment.
