Los niños y niñas víctimas de la violencia de género han sido, las víctimas invisibles de esta lacra social que es el asesinato de mujeres por sus maridos, parejas o ex… Ellos han vivido el drama mayor que puede soportar un ser humano: ver cómo tu padre asesina a tu madre.
Soledad Cazorla, la primera fiscal de Sala de Violencia contra la mujer, estableció en el territorio español una red de fiscales para proteger a las víctimas de esta violencia salvaje y estaba muy preocupada por la suerte de los huérfanos y huérfanas que no eran consideradas víctimas directas. Por esa razón, a su muerte –en mayo de 2015– su marido y sus hijos promovieron la creación de un Fondo de Becas que lleva su nombre, para promover el desarrollo personal, apoyo educativo y reparación del daño de estas víctimas invisibles.

Children victims of Gender Violence have been, the invisible victims of this social scourge that is the murder of women by their husbands, partners or ex… They have lived the greatest drama that a human being can endure: See how your father murders your mother.
Soledad Cazorla, the first prosecutor of the Chamber of Violence against women, established a network of prosecutors in Spain to protect the victims of this wild violence, but she was very concerned about the fate of the orphans who were not considered direct victims.
For that reason, at her death –in May 2015– her husband and her children promoted the creation of a Scholarship Fund, that bears his name, to promote the personal development, educational support and hurt repair of these invisible victims.
