Este texto recoge la intervención del autor mantenida el Homenaje a Peter Häberle el 13 de mayo de 2019. El trabajo pone en contexto la Habilitación de Peter Häberle (1970) sobre el “interés público como problema jurídico”. A partir de ahí repasa las influencias que impulsaron el trabajo y los debates que suscitó, además de analizar su peso hoy tanto en el derecho constitucional como en el derecho administrativo.

This text includes the intervention of the author kept at the Homage to Peter Häberle on May 13, 2019. The work puts in context the Habilitation of Peter Häberle (1970) on “public interest as a legal problem”. From there it reviews the influences that drove the work and the debates that it provoked, in addition to analyzing its weight today both in constitutional law and in administrative law.
