Resumen de Arqueología urbana en Huelva: balance y perspectivas de futuro

  Se analizan las distintas etapas marcadas por diferentes intereses, metodologías y mecanismos de gestión, que han definido las intervenciones arqueológicas en la ciudad desde el año 1966 hasta el presente para a partir de ahí realizar un balance de los resultados, analizar la situación actual y proponer un proyecto de futuro que permita el rescate y la reconstrucción de la memoria histórica de la ciudad de Huelva. Dicho proyecto ha de desarrollarse en el marco de diálogo entre los ciudadanos, ávidos de conocer su pasado, los agentes de desarrollo inmobiliario, generadores de riqueza y progreso, y los poderes públicos, responsables de garantizar el futuro del pasado.

  In this paper, the different stages characterized by different interests, methodologies and mechanisms of management, which have defined the archaeological interventions carried out in the city from the year 1966 until the present, are analyzed. The triple final aim is to realize an assessment of the results, to analyze the current situation and to propose a project of future that allows the rescue and the reconstruction of the historical memory of the city of Huelva. This project must to be developed with the participation of the citizens, eager to know his heritage, the agents of property development, generators of wealth and progress, and the public authorities, responsible of guaranteeing the future of the past.
