Sobre los niveles protohistóricos de la necrópolis de Herrería, se conservaban algunos enterramientos tardorromanos cuyo estudio amplía la información disponible sobre la Antigüedad Tardía en la Meseta oriental, zona tradicionalmente olvidada por la investigación. Su hallazgo confirma la existencia de un cementerio correspondiente a una comunidad rural y ha proporcionado interesantes datos arqueológicos y antropológicos.

Over protohistoric levels in the Herreria necropolis were founded some late roman graves.
The study of these graves increased the available information about Late Antiquity of the Spanish East Plateau area, which is one of the less studied regions. These findings confirm that there is a cemetery associated with the rural community. This cemetery has provided interesting archaeological and anthropological information.
