Resumen de The use of bobbin lace as a cultural identity element to promote tourism in Ilha Grande, Piauí, Brazil

  Este artigo busca compreender o histórico das rendas de bilros no mundo e, em particular, no Nordeste brasileiro, destacando a comunidade dos Morros da Mariana em Ilha Grande no estado do Piauí, refletindo sobre as possibilidades de manutenção e valorização dessa arte como componente da identidade cultural do local, além de discutir propostas de utilização desse patrimônio pelo turismo, de maneira sustentável. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo, apoiada em pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, caracterizando-se como exploratório-descritiva. Dentre os resultados, propõe-se atividades de educação patrimonial e incentivo ao turismo cultural e pedagógico, bem como a criação de um sistema de registro, documentação e promoção das rendas a fim de valorizar e preservar a arte para as futuras gerações, dando enfase à criação de uma plataforma virtual onde possam ser armazenadas informações diversas acerca das rendas de bilros, sua história, design e evolução além de possibilitar a comercialização de produtos, posto que a renda configura-se como atividade cultural e, concomitantemente, econômica.

  The objective of the present article is to comprehend the history of bobbin lace in the world and in particular in northeast of Brazil, highlighting the community of Morros da Mariana in Ilha Grande, state of Piauí, reflecting on the maintenance possibilities and appreciation of this art as cultural identity, and to discuss proposals for the use of this heritage for tourism, in a sustainable manner. The research is qualitative nature, exploratory and descriptive in nature, anchored in bibliographic and documentary research. Among the results, it is proposed heritage education activities and encouragement of cultural and educational tourism, and the creation of a system of registration, documentation and promotion of lace in order to enhance and preserve the art for future generations, giving emphasis to creation of a virtual platform where they can be stored various information about bobbin lace, your history, design and development as well of enabling the marketing of products, since the income is configured as a cultural activity and concomitant economic.
