El presente artículo presenta un pro-fundo análisis de la “Quinta generación de dirigentes” de la República Popular China. Para ello, describimos el complejo entramado institucional chino y llevamos a cabo un detallado análisis de los currículos de los veinticinco miembros del Politburó del Comité Central del Partido Comunista chino. Gracias a ello, podemos observar como la "Quinta Generación" construye su poder respetando el equilibrio entre la "El Clan de Shanghái" y los "Tuanpai de la Liga". Pero además, vemos aparición de una nueva facción en el PCCh, la "Camarilla de Xi Jinping" llamada a dirigir China durante la próxima década.

This paper presents a thorough analy-sis of the "Fifth generation leaders" of the PRC. To this end, we describe the complex Chinese institutional framework and we carry out a de-tailed analysis of the curricula of the twenty five members of the Politburo of the Central Com-mittee of the Chinese Communist Party. As a result, we can see how the "Fifth Generation" builds their power respecting the balance be-tween the "Shanghai Gang" and "Tuanpai Gang".
